At
the heart of Available Sound is our
custom-built DJ computer system,
known affectionately as Rufus. Named
after George Carlin's character in
the movie
"Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure,"
Rufus is packed with an ever-growing
library of over 200,000 songs ranging
from wartime Swing to the latest pulse-pounding
nightclub tracks.
And
don't worry if you need help selecting
the right music for your Event -
we'll be more than happy to assist
you by recommending a variety of
popular songs based on the age groups
attending and the activities that
will be going on.
We
are currently working to create a downloadable
PDF file of our current music collection.
As our Library is constantly growing,
be sure to check back for periodic updates
as they become available.
One
special note about the type and nature
of the music we have - you'll see this
notice in several places around our website:
Its
there to both remind and assure you
that we do not have any mateiral
in our Library that has been identified
by the RIAA and/or record companies
as containing obscene, explicit or
otherwise inappropriate lyrics. While
we realize that this may limit some
aspects of our Library (principally
in the Rap and Hip-Hop categories)
it was a choice we made based on
our clientele and the type of Events
that we prefer to host. As an alternative,
we endeavor to locate (whenever possible)
the clean versions of popular songs
(known in the industry as "radio
play" versions) so that our
clients and their guests can still
enjoy the music they prefer with
a minimum of offensive content.
Available
Sound's Karaoke Library contains
over 50,000 songs (and is growing
regularly) with an incredible variety
of selections ranging from long-time
favorites and classics to the some
of the latest chart-topping hits.
There's sure to be something for
just about everyone! We feature four
of the best Karaoke publishers: Sound
Choice, Chartbuster, Sunfly and Legends.
In
the event we do not have a particular
piece of Karaoke music, our digital
hardware can remove just about all
of the lead vocals from virtually
any music track. You can choose from
our extensive library of thousands
of songs - then all you have to do
is remember the words!
