Each speaker contains its own specially designed 400 watt amplifier, perfectly matched and tuned to the two speaker elements. Mackie SR1530 Active Speakers

Stepping up to bigger sound is no problem here. Large rooms, crowded venues and outdoor events will come to life when we fire up the 1530's! At 500 watts each these 3-way monsters will definitely be heard - clean and clear. Excellent on their own, they also work well with others, especially our SWA-1801 Subwoofer (below). For "total" club sound we'll frequently run one or both sets of our SRM-450's (above) as satellite speakers and have been known to turn a few heads when doing so.
